Warranty Overview
All Yamaha products sold through YamahaOnlineMotors.com are covered only by the manufacturer’s original warranty. YamahaOnlineMotors does not provide additional warranties beyond what is offered by Yamaha or the original manufacturer.
Outboard Engines

All engine sales are final.

Engine warranty claims must be made through Yamaha.

YamahaOnlineMotors cannot process engine warranty claims directly to consumers.
Replacement Parts & Accessories

New Yamaha parts, accessories, instruments, and gauges purchased for personal/pleasure use in the United States are covered by Yamaha’s manufacturer warranty for 1 year from the date of purchase.

Items used commercially (guide use, rentals, government, or business) are covered for 90 days.

Replacement electrical components have a 30-day warranty.
How to Submit a Yamaha Warranty Claim

Go to the Yamaha warranty claim form or contact your authorized Yamaha dealer.

Provide the following information:

Engine or part serial number

YamahaOnlineMotors order number
-
Part number of the item
-

If needed, YamahaOnlineMotors will provide a Return Authorization (RA) number to ship the part back for inspection.

Shipping costs for warranty claims are not covered by YamahaOnlineMotors.
Processing Time

Warranty claims processed by the manufacturer may take up to 90 days.

If a warranty claim is approved, the manufacturer will issue a replacement part, which will be shipped via Yamaha-approved channels.

Always keep proof of purchase (invoice or order confirmation).

YamahaOnlineMotors recommends contacting your local authorized Yamaha dealer for assistance while warranty claims are processed.

Do not ship items without an RA number — unauthorized returns may be refused.
